Meet our new addition....a couple months later!

Since I can't figure out how to move my pictures we will start with Makaylee feeding her baby! She picked up on this really fast, I was only in the hospital for two days and she figured out what I was doing and how to do it herself!








Meet Cambree. She was born on the 29th of November 2010. Her delivery went a lot better than Makaylee's so she is now my favorite child (and because makaylee is now a big time daddy's girl)! hehehe just kidding. Makaylee is doing GREAT with her. I was very worried about her reaction to a new addition but she does really good with her (as long as her daddy is not the one holding Cambree).

This was her first bath. The nurse was very, very nice and picked out a bow that no other baby she knew of had. Makaylee watched her baby sister like a hawk as she was washed by the nurse, (she actually looked a little nervous), she is going to be a great big sister.

Happy halloween!!

Happy Halloween! I have wanted Makaylee to be Boo from Monsters Inc. since last year, so I was super excited when I figured out how to do it. She of course hated dressing up! The only reason the costume is even on her and she has a smile on her fae is because I told her that was the only way to get candy! I can not wait until she is older and I can drag her around trick-or-treating for hours, like my mom used to do. My mom went to Disney land earlier that week and brough back her super cute mickey mouse bucket!!
She is in love with Mickey mouse clubhouse right now so I thought it would be a good idea to carve a Mickey mouse pumpkin. We went to our friends house before it got dark so I thought I would just get a picture when we got home but.......the stupid deer ate it before we even got home for the night!! I was mad!!

1st annual adult easter egg hunt

I made my family do an adult Easter egg hunt this year! I did threaten (and so did my mom) that they had better be excited to participate! Since it snowed that weekend and again that morning we did the hunt inside. I waited until dark and then sent them downstairs to find their egg and a couple extras with flashlights! Westley got the "golden egg" cause he found the gold egg I hid and Jacob got the silver egg for being the first to find his eggs! They all said they had fun, and I don't even think they were lying! Westley thinks he is awesome for getting the gold egg! I found out after that the entire egg hunt he was re-hiding Brian's eggs or throwing them against the wall so he couldn't win! Such a cheater I should revoke his egg!

Jordan really thought he was funny by pretending he pooped out the "golden egg". Yeah, i think they had fun!

Easter morning

Yes, I hide Brian's Easter basket. Yes, he complains to no end that I hide it. Yes, I enjoy his complaining because it amuses me! This year I made it way way way to easy for him...next year it will take longer to find!!
I made the mistake of putting bubbles in Makaylee's basket. They should have an age warning of about 5 because that is when they should be able to do it themselves! Stupid cheap bubbles and stupid, crazy, cold Utah weather! We had to blow them inside because it snowed that night! NO more bubbles, ever!

I feel bad for saying i will never get bubbles again cause she was so cute and had so much fun with them!

I led a trail of bunny poops (milk duds) up to her basket. Even after Brian and I started eating them she would still not come close. She cautiously tip-toed her way around them to get to her basket.

We went out to my aunt Debbie's house a couple weeks ago for a birthday party, and since they have horses they saddled them up to give everybody rides!! Makaylee LOVED the horses.....until I put her ON the horse!
She liked the horse, before she knew I was going to be putting her on it!

By the end, she finally got on without throwing a huge fit! She actually looks happy to be there. It only took about two hours to get this far, not too bad in my book!

Spring craft project

I was watching Studio 5 (they have tonz of cute craft projects)!! Anywho, I have wanted to try a few and never actually ended up doing them. So.....this time I just went and did it. I think it turned out pretty good, I wish I would have got a smaller frame but it works. It still is not done though, I still need to hang a wire across the back and then hang words from little closepins!

Utah/BYU game

A couple week sago we went to the Utah/Byu game for Brian's birthday. On the way out, I heard two or three different people say "They are a weird couple." I thought it was pretty funny!! Utah got blown out but I still wore my RED proudly!! Brian's family are ALL BYU fans and they are SOOOOOOO annoying!!! It was a pretty fun night....other than Utah getting their butts kicked!

I have not blogged for a bit, so I thought i would post some of my favorite pictures of the last three or so months! We finally got a new computer, my last one stopped letting me load pictures onto it.
Makaylee likes to help me unload the dishwasher!! Sometimes she is more of a pain when she helps but it keeps her happy so I will happily let her help!
I bought this dress when she was a month or so old hoping that it would fit her for this last Christmas. I think I got lucky, she wore it a couple times but that was because she is on the smaller end of the scale!

This is probably my most favorite picture EVER!!! She loves kitties, she will follow them around my parents house all day if she could. Now that she is able to talk and run,they keep their distance! She knows where their hiding spots are though and will go look for them under my parents bed!! No safe spot for them in the house, so they spend a lot of time outside when we pull up!!

Happy Halloween! This year I decided to do the Flintstones. I always get told that Makaylee looks like pebbles so I decided to make her into pebbles! This is my pumpkin!
This is Brian's pumpkin! We were going to drop it off on out neighbors door but it turned out cute (if you can say that) so we kept it, it was pretty funny!

This is the trick-or-treating group all dressed up (other than Fred)!

My cute pebbles!! She liked trick-or-treating! It was kind of funny for the first few house, I think she was kind of confused as to why people were throwing candy in her bag! But she is her mommy's girl and figured it out pretty quick!

First trip to the zoo!

A couple weeks ago we went to the zoo for Makaylee's first time! I think she enjoyed it, but she didn't seem very interested. Her favorite animal there was the HOUSE cat that they put behind a window and gave an exotic name! Seriously the thing looked like a pet and it was the only thing she even showed interest in!
They have a scale down be the elephants that you can weigh yourself and see how you size up to a baby elephant, an adult elephant, some other stuff and the weight of an elephants waste for a year! All three of them on it still didn't pass the lowest one which was a baby elephant!

I was most excited to see all the new baby animals, this was in front of the baby elephant!!

Stewart falls hike

A couple weeks ago we went on a hike up Stewart Falls, it was beautiful! These are not in order but still beautiful, especially the ones with me in them!! hehehe j/k This is at the waterfall looking over towards Sundance.

The babies made the trip without breaking a sweat and Makaylee and Alyssa almost made it the whole way without crying!

I am a sucker for bright fall leaves, fall is my favorite!

Makaylee turned 1!!!!

First birthdays are so exciting!! I am pretty sure that I was more excited about her birthday than she was (heheehehe)!!! I started looking at cakes when she was around six months old, trying to decide what cake I would make and what theme I would choose! After all of that, I stole the idea from my cousin Emily, so ........ thanks for the idea!! A couple days before her birthday Brian and I tried to teach her how to blow a candle out, it didn't work!! Oh well, I got to make a birthday wish for her!! Here are some pictures of the night.

The birthday girls! Since Makaylee's birthday was on a Thursday, we threw her birthday party on Friday, which ended up being on Alyssa's birthday! Nothing better than watching somebody else open presents on your birthday!

We, as in Brian, my mom, my brother and myself thought that it would be cute to take her picture with her sitting by the 1 on the 10 yard line at my brothers football game. She hated it!
